Hotel Martino Spa And Resort, Alajuela

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and large, offering excellent views, but they were very minimalist. The service was top-notch, with professional and friendly staff who even prepared breakfast for us at 5:00. The location was beautiful, situated in a quiet residential neighborhood opposite Zooave. The dining experience was good, especially the Gallo Pinto, but starting at 7am might not suit early departures. Overall, a great place with some minor drawbacks.

I had an incredible time at the hotel! The rooms offer a nice view of the pool, with high ceilings, two comfortable beds, a paper-flushing toilet, and a bidet. They are spacious and provide excellent views. The service was top-notch, with staff spending a lot of time explaining attractions and giving great travel tips, although they only spoke Spanish. The location was peaceful, spacious, and lovely, surrounded by nesting birds and wandering iguanas. Dining was fantastic, but the early 7 am start may not suit those with early flights. The facilities were great too!
